Slack bus The use of a slack bus has an inherent disadvantage when dealing with uncertain input variables: the slack bus must absorb all uncertainties arising from the system and thus must have the widest possible nodal power distributions. Even moderate amounts of uncertainty in a large system may allow the resulting distributions to contain values beyond the slack bus's margins.
Slack variable In an optimization problem, a slack variable is a variable that is added to an inequality constraint to transform it to an equality. Introducing a slack variable replaces an inequality constraint with an equality constraint and a nonnegativity constraint.
Organizational capital Organizational capital was first defined by Prescott and Visscher (1980) to be the accumulation and use of private information to enhance production efficiency within a firm. This capital can be a significant source of firm value.

Slack bus The slack bus provides or absorbs active and reactive power to and from the transmission line to provide for losses, since these variables are unknown until the final solution is established. The slack bus is the only bus for which the system reference phase angle is defined. From this, the various angular differences can be calculated in the power flow equations. If a slack bus is not specified, then a generator bus with maximum real power |P| acts as the slack bus. A given scheme can involve more than one slack bus.
Wilf Slack Slack finished his first-class career having played 237 matches, with 13,950 runs at 38.96, including 25 centuries.

Charles Redding played a prominent role in the establishment of organizational communication as a discipline.
Organizational intelligence While Operational Intelligence is activity-focused and BI is data-focused, Organizational Intelligence differs from these other approaches in being workforce- or organization-focused. Organizational Intelligence helps companies understand the relationships that drive their business—by identifying communities as well as employee workflow and collaborative communications patterns across geographies, divisions, and internal and external organizations.
