This accelerated on-demand course introduces participants to the comprehensive and flexible infrastructure and platform services provided by Google Cloud Platform. Through a combination of video lectures, demos, and hands-on labs, participants explore and deploy solution elements, including securely interconnecting networks, load balancing, autoscaling, infrastructure automation and managed services. Course Introduction

Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation This course of work is the last before the Capstone Course. In the Capstone Course, you will create a web cluster with elastic load balancing support, provisioning a schema for it and a database for it. You will use it to serve static content like images, static files, static routes etc. In this course you will focus on the actual deployment of your application to a Amazon EC2 instance. You will also learn how to extend the cluster configuration to support elastic load balancing. We will use AWS EC2 instances but you should have the choice of using an EC2 instance on your own private cloud or on a public cloud. You will require AWS account and credentials as described in Capstone project. At the end of this course you should be able to: 1. Describe how to configure and setup Amazon EC2 Elastic Load Balancer on EC2 instance on your computer. 2. Specify a cluster configuration for your application and deploy it to Amazon EC2 instances. 3. Create routes for your application to external hosts and route them to appropriate places in your application. 4. Install the applications on your local instance using Amazon EC2. 5. Use AWS CLI commands to create routes and routes to serve your application. 6. Add and configure Amazon EC2 Elastic Load Balancer instances on your computer. 7.
